Hey there! Welcome to Atelier on 8th, where European vibe meets American flair. Originally from Slovakia (Central Europe), I made my way through multiple continents from Europe to Australia and finally landed in the heart of Raleigh, North Carolina.

I never imagined that fashion could become my career path. I've always loved it, but to be honest, my personal style only really began to evolve in the past few years as I started to make enough to invest in pieces that truly felt like "me." For the longest time, though, the idea of leaving my corporate job was daunting. Fashion was a dream, but corporate life felt safe.

Then, earlier this year, everything changed. As the post-COVID economy reshaped corporate America, a wave of job cuts hit hard—and my role was among them. That was the push I needed to finally ask myself what I wanted and how I was going to make it happen.

Six months later, I launched my own boutique from the ground up. I didn’t have experience in running a boutique or even building a website. But here we are, figuring it out day by day with the help of YouTube, Google and ChatGPT! It’s a journey of trial and error, but each step brings growth.

Slowly, my boutique is coming to life—learning, evolving, and growing one day at a time.
